Your Responsibilities

Development, programming, and commissioning of PLC control systems for special-purpose machines and complex industrial plants
Implementation of automation solutions based on Rockwell (Studio 5000), Siemens (Step 7 / TIA Portal), Beckhoff (TwinCAT), or comparable systems
Design and implementation of HMI/SCADA systems (e.g., WinCC, FactoryTalk, Ignition)
Integration of motion control, vision, and robotics systems
Integration of fieldbus systems (e.g., Profinet, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP)
Execution of system tests, FAT/SAT, and commissioning at customer sites
Troubleshooting and optimization of existing automation systems
Technical coordination with electrical design, software development, and project management

You work in a hands-on, solution-oriented manner and actively contribute your ideas to projects.

Your Profile

Completed technical education in electrical engineering, automation technology, or computer science
(alternatively, solid practical experience in the field of automation)
Several years of experience in PLC programming with at least one of the following or comparable systems:
Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens (TIA Portal / Step 7), Beckhoff (TwinCAT), B&R, or Codesys
Experience in designing HMI, SCADA, or visualization systems (e.g., WinCC, FactoryTalk, Ignition)
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, EtherCAT, Modbus, OPC UA, or Ethernet/IP
Experience in motion control, drive technology, vision systems, or robotics is an advantage
Basic understanding of low-voltage and switchgear technology
Good German and English skills
Structured, solution-oriented working style and strong team spirit
Willingness to travel for commissioning activities, primarily within Europe. The extent of travel depends on the project and can be arranged individually in coordination.

Nice to Have

Experience with safety controllers or functional safety (SIL/PL)
Knowledge of robotics integration (e.g., KUKA, ABB, Fanuc, UR)
Basic understanding of MES connectivity or ERP integration
Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Sick, Omron)
